This program is designed to enhance the physical capabilities and increase the mental fortitude of higher level athletes, soldiers, emergency service personnel and those keen to push the limits to the levels required by our elite.
The Tactical Athlete is, functionally fit across a broad range of dynamics, they have the strength and ability required to match it in the gym, the functional fitness to employ their body like the machine it is, the endurance to maintain controlled physical composure over extended periods and the mental fortitude and resilience to maintain a level head under physical and mental stress.
This program requires a very good level of physical fitness, it was designed to prepare our Soldiers and Emergency Service personnel for specialist roles within their services. We conducted research into why people were pulling off these course, then designed this program specifically to target this space. This is not to say that anyone cannot challenge themselves to see just what they are made of.
Tactical Athletes: Military & Police, First Responders, Fire Fighters, Combat Sports Athletes & (Team) Sports Athletes or the general public looking to push their boundaries.
What to expect:
- Strength training
- Functional circuits and specific exercise techniques
- Swimming for strength, endurance and recovery
- Weighted and non weighted running
- pack marching - progressive out to distance <20km
- To be challenged both physically and mentally
What you need:
- Commitment
- The ability to think outside the box and improvise with equipment and workouts
- Gym access
- Pool access
- Weighted vest or military style webbing
- Pack or rucksack (heavy duty backpack able to hold up to 25kg)
- Torsion bar
- Various other equipment.

Great Program
Haven’t finished the program yet but I love it so far a good mix of weights and circuits. Definitely a great program.

Tactical athlete review
I’m usually not one to write reviews on things, but felt compelled after almost completing week 11 of this program. If you are in any type of law enforcement, or contemplating a military career, look no further than this program to get prepared/get fit for duty. I can honestly say I’ve never reached this level of fitness before. As someone who is not naturally born with the gift of strength, I feel so much more confident with the squat, bench and deadlift. I feel so much stronger lifting a weight I previously struggled with, as well as setting new PB’s in all areas. Also on the cardio side of things, if you have to run/respond with some heavy gear, this program gradually adapts your body to carrying heavier loads. The mindset challenges are also just an added bonus which I’ve continued in my morning routine, making me more prepared to be on duty. Thanks again legends!
Exactly what I needed
I'm only a few weeks into this program, but after reaching a plateau in my training and losing motivation, this has kicked me into gear. It's got a fantastic mix of everything to turn you into a more well-rounded athlete, and you won't ever be bored or unsatisfied with a session. Do yourself a favour and sign up to this.

Great training, diverse, functional and intended for the right market. Get in the headspace and move. Sam is responsive to changes and this exceeds expectations. Nothing worthwhile is easy.
